I wanted a GPS-transmitting node to chuck in my plane and see what kind of range I got. As a starter, and as I was in a rush, I lashed it together on a breadboard. I never got any further due to gateway problems, and it didn't work as planned on a trip around the UK.
Next plan is to build something more substantial which I can chuck around a bit. I need to build a PCB really.
