Components
- EtnaNode v1.1 (LPC812, MCP1700, RFM69HW)
- Ublox 6 with large patch antenna
- 3x AA batteries
- External 1/4 antenna
- Jar
Setup
- In repeating mode with gps.
- No power saving so will only last hours/days
- RFM69HW - setup for 100mW output
Construction
- Initial board soldered up and tested.
- Added GPS directly to JP1 header on EtnaNode
- Batteries - soldered together, initial voltage 4.8V
- Drilled hole in to jar to pass wire through, added ground plane inside jar
Todo
- Epoxy the antenna hole
- Secure the board inside
- Test it floats
